Celebrate Christmas with the John Lewis Partnership Music Society on Tuesday 12 December, with a programme of carols, choral and orchestral music at Cadogan Hall. Caroline makes a double debut at the venue as soprano soloist in Vaughan Williams' The First Nowell, and as conductor for the second half of the concert. The programme also includes Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty Suite, and is conducted by Manvinder Rattan, Head of the JLP Music Society. Tickets available here.
The Vigala Singers, conducted by Joy Hill, are in residence at St James' Piccadilly this Easter, and will perform a lunchtime concert on Monday 10 April. The programme includes music by Cecilia McDowell, Nikolas Labrinakos and Tavener as well as Tallis, Allegri, Lotti, Byrd and Monteverdi.
The Antoni Ensemble were guest choir at Peterborough Cathedral from 6-7 August 2016. Directed by Nicholas Tudor, the choir is primarily composed of graduates from the University of York and has an annual residency in a different cathedral each summer.
The Arcadian Singers of Oxford, directed by Tomos Watkins, celebrated their 40th anniversary with a concert featuring Oliver Tarney's new Magnificat. Having performed the premiere of this work in 2015 and recorded the piece with Serafine Chamber Choir, Caroline joined the choir as soprano soloist.
