The John Lewis Partnership Music Society celebrated Christmas in style this year with a concert at the Royal Festival Hall. Fifteen choirs from across the UK joined the Society Orchestra under conductor Manvinder Rattan, to sing a selection of carols and Christmas music including a medley of Elton John songs and This Joyous Night by Alan Woods, which was commissioned by the Society in 1999.
Two of the choirs, based at Waitrose Head Office in Bracknell, were prepared by Caroline - including the award-winning 'Cool and the Cucumbers'. The choirs will return to London in April to sing Dvořák's Mass in D Major.
